Lee spent most of her life as a creative artist; acting, writing and teaching. Studying character and human motivation was always a passion of hers, whether that meant delving into the nuances of a role in a script, dissecting a scene in a play, or digging into the real life human dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
Lee was a graduate of Middlebury College and also held a Master of Arts from Rhode Island College and Trinity Repertory Conservatory. Lee started as a Shakespearean actress in New England and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue film, television, and script writing. She performed on stage and in television and film, in the US and internationally.
In 2012, Lee and her family relocated to Prague, the Czech Republic. In Europe, Lee continued to act and worked as an international travel writer, visiting over twenty countries, exploring and immersing herself in different cultures and locales. She also enjoyed teaching English as a second language and facilitating conversation groups with people from all over the world.
After her time in Europe, Lee moved back to Los Angeles with her husband, Josiah, their two kids, and their Springer Spaniel. She loved reading, researching, hiking in Griffith Park, and practicing yoga with friends.
Lee’s unfailing kindness, optimism, and generosity of spirit were evident in her work as a member of the Connection Labs team. We are ever grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside Lee and honor her in memoriam.
