Research on high-performing teams indicates that high-quality interactions, characterized by trust, open communication, and a willingness to embrace conflict are critical components of strong team dynamics. In professional contexts, relationships impact collaboration, engagement, ease of doing business, retention, culture, productivity, trust and psychological safety. It’s up to you! There are benefits to both experiences. Our open cohorts are comprised of individuals from diverse professions and often at different career stages. These participants report enjoying engaging with a group that includes a variety of unique perspectives and backgrounds. Some participants appreciate the anonymity that comes with joining a group of individuals they don’t know, while others tell us there is added value in participating with at least one colleague or friend for the benefit of reflection and discussion between sessions.
Our team workshop experiences include exercises and takeaways that are modified to reflect the nuances of the team. Teams who take our workshop together report the benefits of having the shared experience of learning together and developing an awareness of each other’s strengths, communication and leadership styles.

Attending all of our Connection 101 Workshop sessions will result in the strongest outcomes. That said, if you have to miss a session, we’ll send you the Notes & Key Takeaways, a document all participants receive that summarizes the session. Because of the nature of our spiraled curriculum, participants have found that missing more than one session can make the experience feel disjointed.
If you’re joining one of our workshop experiences with your team, we also encourage you to catch up with your colleagues outside of the workshop.

We are educators by background and have designed our learning experiences from that perspective. Our goal is to take functioning teams from good to great and elevate impact by increasing awareness, sharing effective tools and frameworks, and empowering participants to put them into practice. We are neither mediators nor consultants.
