Saumya Shinde is a student at Williams College and is considering majoring in Psychology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is also involved in theater, dance, and poetry and believes in the power of using art for activism. She is a trained dialogue facilitator and conflict mediator, which allows her to explore her interests in studying group dynamics and conflicts. Her passions include the study of Interfaith, South Asian Studies, Global Studies, Philosophy, Theology, and Anthropology. Connection Labs embodies Saumya’s core value of communication. While she is interested in exploring non-verbal communication via art and interplay, she appreciated the language she gained as an intern at Connection Labs, which supports her to hear herself and others.
