Sarah Miles, M.S.W., Ph.D. is currently the Research Director for Challenge Success. She researches how schools and classrooms can best support student well-being, learning, and engagement. She has also been a coach with several Challenge Success member schools, worked as a researcher at the John W. Gardner Center at Stanford, as well as a teaching and research assistant at Stanford. Prior to receiving her doctoral degree, Sarah taught fifth grade in Oakland, California and worked as a clinical social worker in the Boston area.
