Whether with elementary students, teens or adults, Ashley thrives on sharing content, tools, resources and strategies to empower others to recognize and reach their potential.
After an initial detour in NYC finance, Ashley found her passion in education. She has worked at the International School of Beijing in Beijing, China, at the Bernice A. Ray School in Hanover, NH, and The Montessori Children’s School in Etna, NH. Ashley believes strongly in the power of community and contributing to it. For several years she was Program Head for the Ford Sayre BKL Nordic Ski program and the Ford Sayre Junior Nordic Team, where she helped restructure the growing organization and worked to build community engagement. A graduate of Williams College, Ashley earned her BA in Asian studies (Mandarin Chinese) and was the women’s lacrosse team captain. She received her teaching certification through the Upper Valley Educators Institute in Lebanon, NH, and her Montessori Certificate through the Northeast Montessori Institute. An avid athlete, Ashley has also enjoyed coaching girls lacrosse and cross-country skiing in her community. In her free time, she loves to trail run, mountain bike, hike, cook, read and travel. Ashley lives in Vermont, with her husband, Peter, and has two daughters.
